Notre Dame symposium celebrating Louis Braille’s 200th birthday

Dr. Marc Maurer, president of the National Federation of the Blind and a 1974 University of Notre Dame alumnus, was keynote speaker for “Blindness: A Symposium, held in March 2009 at the University to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of French inventor Louis Braille.
