Chorusxx
Cuz I got my lips on my last cigarette/
And I can’t recall the last time I took an honest breath/
Now I’m on a road to a place that I used to used to know/
I don’t come here much anymore but it feels like a lot like home/
These days they come and go so fast and I’m all alone/
And I cling on to everything around me to feel anything at all/
I can’t tell if I’m in tune in truth with the way I feel/
So I wrote this song to see if I’m in love or in love with the idea/

I’m an a gentlemen, smooth with the penmenship/
creative as newborn except with the sentences/
Could never see myself in a white collar environment/
Don’t got a job yet I think about retirement/
Funny how old habits become new ones/
And you become a person god only knows who wants/
Shit I’m only 18 but I live a lot older/
if you’re hungry get to know me I got chips up on my shoulder/
I’m unhealthy but obsessed with my well being/
Given a gift ill never live to be rich/
But ill stomp on these tracks till my feet go numb/
I’d rather die than live life to the beat of your drum/
chill with the dudes and the bros/
and the goons and the hoes/
and the gangsters and a preps/
And hang with all the rest/
I’m complex and i said that I thought id never make it/
but the lost beat the odds and find their way to being famous/
Addictive personality or this filter don’t filter too much/
Until I’m famous all I needs a few bucks cuz/

I got a short fuse though I’m very understanding/
And ill verbally abuse you till I’m getting reprimanded/
Let’s go stand up on a hill side we’ll ride til I feel high/
And you can find me jottin down ill rhymes/
To kill time as long as you stick by my side/
can’t feel me? than ill start writing braille lines/
And I love a few of you no need to say who you are/
That I’d listen to for days to cure the pain in your heart/
But yall act like you don’t give a all the sudden/
And theres blood on my back from the knife stuck in it/
Now yall are dead to me these thoughts are behind me/
But the stained thread and seams always remind me/
And you’re periodic texts don’t pass as a redeemer/
But I’m on my way to college and the grass is always greener/
And I mean this when I say it save your pity if youre one/
now I am done let my lifes smoke into your lungs cuz

Louis Braille – Bicentenary

January 15, 2010 - 4:10 am No Comments

St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London for a service of celebration for Louis Braille 1809 – 1852.

The video includes information about the life of Louis Braille and the contribution that he has made to mankind musically, and also by inventing the Braille alphabet which is used worldwide by blind people and the visually impaired.

He became blind after a tragic accident in his father’s workshop aged 3 when one eye was stabbed by an awl. He died aged 43 from tuberculosis – an airborne bacterial pathogen that is destroyed naturally by sunlight (UV – ultraviolet).

This video is posted on the anniversary of Robert Koch’s first presentation of his discovery of the TB bacterium on March 24 1882. It was not long before scientists discovered that direct sunlight (UV) destroys these bacteria in the air!

There is modern UV-C technology available for personal use and for air handling units in offices, public buildings, transport systems, hospitals and clinics. See http://www.relax-well.co.uk

The architect of St Martin-in-the-Fields was Sir Christopher Wren, 300 years ago. The windows were destroyed by bomb damage in World War 2 and redesigned.
