“BRAILLE EDITION” FORD TRUCK

April 10, 2010 - 5:18 pm 2 Comments

This is a 1999 Ford150 pickup truck “BRAILLE EDITION” It is equipped with a braille steering wheel. I assume it is braille. Why would Ford Motor Co. put a braille steering wheel in a pickup truck? Is this what Louis Braille had in mind when he invented braille? It may be part of that disabilities act, or one of Fords better ideas or Ford did not wont to lose that blind truck buyer. I ask is this truck rare? one of a kind, how many did they make? Did the government have anything to do with it being in this truck? How much did Ford pay the designer who came up with this idea? How much did it cost in production? SUBSCRIBE…LEAVE A COMMENT?
