What do Blind people think of Louis Braille? Like is he a big hero or something like Jesus or whatever?

I read a book about him once. And do other people with special disabilities like him too?

he is a Genius and was an amazing person. I have read books over him written papers on him read braille my whole life. I don’t know where’s the blind would be without braille. so yes he is a hero and somebody to look up too

I really don’t remember much about it, so it ‘ll probably prove tricky. What I can remember about it (I think!) is that is was centered around a pair of grandchildren, one boy and one girl, and their grandfather. Together, they went back in time to visit various important people. I believe one of them was Louis Braille, but I could be wrong.

What occupation did Louis Braille’s father have?

I was always curious about what occupation Mr. Braille had. He worked with leather, yes, but what did he do for a living? Did he make saddles for horses? What would you call people who make saddle for horses (as that’s what I think he did)?

At the time (which would’ve been early 1800s France), would people making saddles be middle-class or lower-class?

I’m just curious.

It is hard to define middle and lower class when talking about craftsmen before there was a wide range of management and sub-management positions – which is what middle-class consists of.
Lower class in an industrial society is laborers and a saddlemaker would be definitely above that.

i’m asking because i have to do a project about some inventions of mathematicians that helped the world. i was wondering if Louis Braille was a mathematician, do you know? also do you know any other mathematician who did a great invention that helped the world?

Louis Braille (January 4, 1809 – January 6, 1852) was the inventor of braille, a worldwide system used by blind and visually impaired people for reading and writing. Try asking your mom. I bet she knows plenty and if she doesn’t she knows which direction to point you in. Communication with your parents is a really important thing.
