They don’t. They put Braille on the keypads. They are the same keypads used INSIDE where blind people are likely to go. They don’t make special keypads without Braille for OUTSIDE ATMs.

Do People make brail computers for blind people?

I was just wondering if they make brail screen computers for blind people anyone know???

There are a variety of computers peripherals and software designed for people who are blind. A person who is blind can use a computer just as easily as a person who is not if they are able to read Braille and almost as well via voice. The problem lies in the people who create websites which may not be accessible to the assistive technology the person has.

The screen itself is not different – although a person who is blind may prefer to use a touch screen.

Blind people can’t drive and why would they walk up to one any ways?

Because the keypad is a standard design. When the part is installed on the machine, it is not determined whether or not it will be a drive up or walk in ATM, therefore all the keypads are braille.

I get a lot of weird question like this and I just want to understand why.

people are not educated on the subject, plain and simple. in some instances, they might be ignorant, but sometimes they may just be curious, as dumb as the questions are.

Why is the brail on drive through ATMs at banks? I dont think many blind people drive. (at least i hope not)
How would they know when the screen was asking about how much money and etc? Even if it was on an ATM that wasnt a drive through?
they usually have braille on the top buttons that are used for the screen.

Because the ATM there is a standard ATM, which has Braille numbers for the blind.

It makes no practical sense to make a separate version without Braille for drive-throughs.

Braille: Due to stupid regulations.
Pens: People walk off with pens all the time. They don’t even think about it. This is not unique to the US.
