i was playing jenga the other day and i got board of the game and started playing domino’s with them …. and then well i was playing i was trying to find the point of the brail or numbers on domino’s theres really no use for it well so i think…. anyone have a clue why?
So that blind people can play, duh
I realize this is a dumb question. I was trying to get points. I didn’t realize that you LOSE points for asking questions. I’m kinda’ new to this thing. I know the answer is that the factories only produce one kind of ATM to save money. It makes sense. Sorry for making you think about a dumb thing. Don’t put me on your shite list, por favor…
The ATM Manufacturers only make one kind of ATM. Then they fit it into various locations: inside the bank, in a wall at a grocery store, and with the right kind of housing, they put them outside. There isn’t a different design for "ATMs for Inside" and "ATMs for Outside." They’re all designed to be used both inside and outside, anywhere and everywhere. So the banks just put them in the housing for outside, stick it in a drive-through lane and voila: drive-up ATM… with Braille. It’s not about "political correctness" or any other such nonsense, it’s just cheaper to have them ALL with braille, than to produced different models define by where they’re going to be placed: inside (with braille), outside on a wall (with braille), outside in a drive-up lane (without braille), etc. It’s pure economics: make them ALL with braille. Make them ALL capable of being placed outside. Let the bank decide where they want them placed.

Louis Braille (1809 – 1852 French !) became blind after an accident when he was 3 years old.
He went to a school for blind people and learnt to read but he couldn’t write because the letters were sewed on material.
He was 13 years old when he imagined a system of letters raised on paper with points.
Perhaps if it was today somebody would imagine another way but in the 19th…
He was inspired by a military who had made a code to communicate silently because of enemies.
I’ve learned Braille, and it’s much faster than writing/drawing shapes of the alphabet
This is the documentary of brail in the booth. HE SPIT LIKE 5 DIFFERENT RAPPERS!

Because the same face plate is used for walk-up ATM machines, and it’s cheaper to use the Braille ones than to make regular ones. They never know for sure WHERE an ATM will be installed when the face plate is made, so it would also make the process of ordering and shipping ATM parts much more complex and expensive.
I mean, are there actually BLIND drivers? Damn, and I thought my girlfriend was dangerous behind the wheel…
When the buttons are made noone knows if they are going to be used in a drive through or not. They have only one type (the one with brail) and that what they use. It makes sense.
