What’s the equivalent of braille for non english languages?

so we have letters 1-26 in the english languages in braille. how about for non english languages? ie. french or german with additional letters like c with the comma thing underneath it or o with 2 dots over it. or how about chinese, japanese, thai, arabic etc?

Every language has its own Braille system. Look up DUXBURY – they do Braille in all languages.

    Braille is used in other languages too. Just like the alphabet varies between languages and sometimes has extra letters that are not in English, there exist variations of braille too, with extra braille letters for the additional letters that are in other languages.

    For example, the Icelandic alphabet has 36 letters and therefore Icelandic braille has 36 letters too (you can see it on this website: http://www.blind.is/fraedin/blindraletur/nr/906).
