Stephanie, it’s astigmatism, not a stigmatism. That’s where things both in the distance and up close appear distorted. Nystagmus is an eye condition in which your eyes constantly move around. I’m assuming that’s what you have.

I have a stigmatism …
I have a stigmatism which means that my eyes constantly move. One eye is bigger than the other. Yes I use a cane. Yes I can see bright colors all though some times I get them comfused like some shades of both pink and red. Any more questions? feel free to ask.

I have a question, why do your eyes roll around and sometimes it looks like they’re going to roll back? Is it because your eyes can’t focus on anything so they roll around? What is the purpose of the strong magnifying glasses and it looks like one lens is stronger than the other because your one eye looks bigger than the other through the glasses. Do you need a cane to walk? What do you see without your glasses? Do you know what colors look like?

Actually the “Note taker” is called a “Pack Mate” I just call it that because it’s easier and everyone at my school does too. I go to a regular school.

When I was younger …
When I was younger I had a few operations to try to save my sight but they did not work and I am blind too. I have never used a notetaker before. Do you go to a normal school or a blind school like me?
