The 3B project

Pierre will soon be on vacations. So, we will have time to order the transcription software, and more importantly to learn how to use it. I do not worry too much about the proofreading of French braille, but I am more dubious for the English braille.
And the questions appear!
The braille writing includes, or more exactly may include, a lot of abbreviations.
The extended braille does not include any, and is rather meant for the beginners (in braille) and for children. Then, there are two levels of shortening.
At the school for the blind where I inquired, the headmistress advises me to prepare only one or two transcriptions that use the extended braille, for the beginners (in language), and otherwise to prefer transcriptions in braille 2. According to her, people who learn a language will prefer to go for the higher level as soon as possible.
I know that my blind students are going to tell me their opinion, but the more the answers, the better adapted our project. If you have a blind person in your neighborhood, can you ask her, please? (Daniel, can you question some people of the institute, please?)

There will be work for everyone. I know each one is very busy, that is the reason why I try to divide the tasks in smaller parts.
And that must not make anyone go away from their French studies!

Pierre proposes the name: 3B project (3B for Bilingual Braille Book). The advantage is that it is rather short in braille as well. Give your opinion, your taste, and your thoughts. If I can’t rely on you for these little things, how can I know you are reliable?

3B project me plait. Comment le traduire en français? Je propose Bouquins bilingues en braille.
