Please help me! Also, it would be much appreaciated if the person isn’t SO well known.

Some examples that I can’t use are Louis Braille, Rooservelt, Helen Keller.

Also please no extremely obvious like Hellen Keller and really realy famous ones.

This is for reasearch, so if you can please post a link that would be wonderful.

Braile is not a language. It is raised symbols for the alphabet. Maybe it’s Morse Code.

In the United States, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sets standards for accessible design. There is a rather large document at this site http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/stdspdf.htm that gives the ADA Standards for Accessible Design. In public buildings, the location of signage, design of bathrooms and water coolers, doorways, etc., etc., etc. are all governed by accessibility standards that put things like signs in a particular location. Where to seek access to braille signage is something that all schools for the blind teach.

I’m 15. When I was twelve, a mentally unstable boy punched me in my left eye. I lost 100% of the vision in that eye. Now I have cancer in my right eye. I’ll be able to keep the eye but the surgical removal of the tumor is going to deprive me of all of my vision in that eye as well. I need to learn brail, I need a brail keyboard, but I can’t find a complete set of all this stuff online anywhere.

Since you are school age, your parents should be working with your school to make sure you acquire the skills of blindness–braille, orientation and mobility, assistive technology. Once you leave school, you would qualify for rehabilitation through your state service. There is a coordinator in each state for a pool of federal money set aside for educational materials. These people are generally also an excellent resource for parents and schools. A list is at:

i went to the door, on island six where there is brail, but there is a scientist in front of it that says he can’t figure out how to get in, and he wont move. please help!
